The illustrations-complete-are not numbered. The boards are red cloth with gilt lettering, numbers on the spine. This book was privately printed and a 1/3 sheet of paper is affixed to the front gutter indicating this book could be obtained from Frederic E. Rogers, 34, Museum Street, London, W. C. 1. The top edge is dyed light blue, and both the uncut fore edge and bottom edge show some light foxing. There is also a bit of foxing in the lower margins on a few of the pages. The orange paper cover is torn, chipped and shows some paper loss at the top and bottom of the spine and on the back panel.
