Condition: Fair. 1907. No Edition Remarks. 501 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Black and white plates and maps. Pages with heavy tanning and foxing, particularly to textblock edges and endpapers. Some cracking to front hinge with exposed netting. Binding loose with some detached pages. Minor pencil annotations to front pastedown. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and fraying to spine ends. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is dulled.

Condition: Good. 1908. No edition remarks. 498 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt lettering. Presentation copy. Pages are heavily tanned with notable foxing. Mild cracking to gutters, however binding remains firm. Pencil inscription to endpaper and title page. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and mild marking to boards. Heavy tanning to spine, which has mild crushing to ends. Boards are mildly warped.
