Zustand: Hervorragend | Sprache: Englisch | Produktart: Bücher | This book is an integration of advanced marketing research work for the sake of making the higher education institutions more competitive through sending a strong message across to the marketers global changing yet rewarding marketing context theoretically and practically. The essence of this message is two-folded. First, is the marketing research imperative as emphasizing the customer sensitivity imperative in the form of seeking the truth of customer-life time value strategically and tactically by rigorous marketing research and marketing information systems. Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Cotesia plutellae (Braconidae: Hymenoptera) is a solitary endoparasitoid wasp that parasitizes the diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella (L.) (Yponomeutidae: Lepidoptera). For successful parasitization, its symbiotic polydnavirus (CpBV) helps the wasps to attenuate host immune capacity and manipulate host developmental physiology. An analysis of CpBV genome sequence indicated the presence of one putative gene (CpBV-H4) showing a high similarity to histone H4. Histone H4, one of the four histone subunits along with H2A, H2B and H3, forms an eukaryotic nucleosome core. Along with H3, it plays a central role in nucleosome formation. CpBV-H4 showed expression in different tissues in parasitized P. xylostella. Transient expression of CpBV-H4 in nonparasitized P. xylostella resulted in significant impairment of hemocyte-spreading and decreased gene expression of host H4, while knock-down of the transient expression using double-stranded RNA interference recovered the immune capacity and gene expression. 88 pp. Englisch. …

Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Most extracellular proteins are stabilized by multiple disulfide bonds formed by the oxidation of pairs of cysteine residues. The most popular host for recombinant protein production is Escherichia coli, but disulfide rich proteins are here often misfolded, degraded, or found in inclusion bodies. An alternative expression system is the cell-free in vitro translation system based on wheat germ extract. It is an open system in which an optimized mix of thiol-disulfide oxidoreductases or chaperones can be added, so that disulfide rich proteins have no chance to aggregate the moment their polypeptide chain emerges from the ribosomes. We have challenged this in vitro translation system with three disulfide rich proteins: mouse Found in Inflammatory Zone (mFIZZ1), Androctonus australis hector (AahII) scorpion toxin, and mouse Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (mVEGF164). By co-translation of the thiol/disulfide oxidoreductase hQSOX1b, soluble and biological active protein were obtained. 200 pp. Englisch.…
