Fore and lower edges uncut. Top edge gilt. Age darkening to endpapers else very clean, tight and unmarked. Uniform with XVIII Century French Romances edited by Vyvyan Holland. Book plate of Ralph Dickinson inside front cover. 'Le Cousin de Mahomet, ou la Folie Salutaire' was first published in Paris in 1742. So far as can be ascertained, this story has never been translated into English. Bound and Printed at the Curwen Press. B2E Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
