Condition: Fair. 1897. Reprinted. 417 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Pictorial cloth covered boards. Ex library copy with associated labels, inserts, stamps and annotations. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Some cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding loose. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing, fraying and tearing to spine ends and edges. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is slightly dulled. Some additional moderate marks and staining. Book has strong forward lean.
