    Decorated by Frank Adams, including tipped-in color illustrations. Folio, publisher's gilt-lettered cloth in partial slipcase. There is a small area of light discoloration at the top of the half-title page, visible also on its verso and the title page; otherwise a fine copy with only the printed and illustrated front panel of the slipcase present.

Pictorial hardcover has worn edges and corners, warped boards, some discolouration to rear, and a few scuffs on front. Text block separated from covers. Soiling and thumbing within as well as a few tears. Ink stamp at bottom of rear inside cover. Illustrations are still bright and wonderful and the amusing verse entirely legible.
