It bears a book plate of the Royal College Of Surgeons Library to the front pastedown, and there are RCS library stamps to the reverse of most of the plates. Sir Arthur Keith was Conservator at the RCS and was involved with the Piltdown Man investigation, even being suspected as a perpetrator of the hoax. ; Black & white photographs, drawings and maps; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; xiii 228 pages.
