Signed by the author on the fep and contains 15 illustrations by Lida Lacey Bloodgood. There is no dust jacket but it does have it's nice salmon colored cardboard slipcase that has a complete pasted-on illustrated paper label and shows light, even handling soil. It has a small repaired split at one end of the opening, but no rubbing wear and displays very well on the shelf. This noted sidesaddle horsewoman author of the early 20th century shares her sometimes death-defying escapades afoot and aside in the hunting field and other equine pursuits. Signed.
