The books center on the Flying U Ranch in Montana & the Happy family of "colorful cowboys" who live there in the early 20th…-century. In 353 pages, with glossy frontispiece by Anton Otto Fischer. A FIRST EDITION, first printing, from 1915, this hardcover has green cloth-covered boards stamped with a red & black design & lettering to front & spine. Condition is Good+: generally very clean with the occasional spot or smudge. Binding secure, but front hinge starting. Pages moderately tanned, heavier around edges. Two old gift inscriptions dated 1919 & 1936 to ffep; NO other writing/underlining/highlighting. Flaws: rubbing to extremities, heavy along spine, with many heavily rubbed spots/patches. No DJ.
