Seller: Cat's Curiosities, Pahrump, NV, U.S.A.
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Cover photo by Barry Feinstein (illustrator). Not a book but a 12-inch, 33-1/3 rpm "Guaranteed High Fidelity" (monaural) vinyl record, Columbia CL 2105, "very-good" to "very-good-plus" vinyl (a couple of long scratches which cannot be felt) in a very-good cardboard jacket with considerable edge-wear and what appears to be a cup ring to Bobby's throat. Lyrics insert sheet is intact and present, though somewhat age-browned to the edges. (Jacket states "monaural" but red record labels do not -- they feature two white "eyes" and state only "Guaranteed High Fidelity" -- which still presumable MEANS monaural.) Includes "One Too Many Mornings," "With God On Our Side," "When the Ship Comes In," "Only a Pawn in Their Game," and, of course, "The Times They Are A-Changin'." Reduced from $25.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. Photos by Barry Feinstein, Charles Steiner (illustrator). Not a book but a pair of 12-inch, 33-1/3 rpm stereo vinyl records, the first being United Artists UAS-6487, "very-good" vinyl (a few long scratches which cannot be felt) , in gold-cloud labels in a gold-cloud inner sleeve, in a near-mint jacket which has been opened but still wears its original shrink-wrap. In this masterful 1966 debut, Lightfoot offers "The Way I Feel," "For Lovin' Me," Ewan McColl's "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," "Early Mornin' Rain," "Pride of Man," "Ribbon of Darkness," etc. -- most being Lightfoot originals. Our second offering, the 1968 Canadian release of "Did She Mention My Name?", UAS 6649, offers near-mint vinyl in a very-good-plus jacket which is starting to develop a little edge-rub. This time all compositions are Gordo's, with John Stockfish on bass and Red Shea on guitar, including "The Mountains and Maryann"; "Pussywillows, Cat-tails," and of course "Did She Mention My Name?" (Yes, the LABELS read "Mountains and Marion," but then ALL our copiers contain this label error, so we're not sure what it proves.) Two classic early Gordon Lightfoot LPs for one price, the pair now reduced from $17.
