Condition: Very good. - Quarto [approximately 13-1/2 inches high by 9-3/4 inches wide], light tan buckram titled in maroon on the spine with an illustration stamped in maroon on the front cover. The binding is bumped with the top corner of the front cover frayed & chipped. The edges of the covers are slightly darkened & the join…ts are stained. 267 & [1] pages plus colophon. 268 photographic illustrations in color and black & white. The page corners are lightly bumped with creasing to the top corners of 3 leaves, else the contents are very good. First edition.Laid in is a 16-page booklet listing the illustrations in Czech, Russian, German and English. The lengthy introduction by Rudolf Fabry and the picture captions in the book are in Czech.
