Add to basketPaperback. Condition: Good. No Dust Jacket. Reissue. Please Note this is the 1971 Reissue. In the original publisher's pictorial card covers. Light edgewear/rubbing and some creaselines showing on the spine from former use - but all sound and complete. The page fore-edges are lightly foxed/browned. Foxing (light brown spotting)…to e/p's. Black and white frontipiece, it appears a tiny piece of 'something' has stuck the title page to the frontispiece at some point in the past, losing a tiny piece (0.5 cm) of the surface of the b/w frontispiece which is now stuck to the detail on the T/P - generally minor. 223 pp. Otherwise internally NO Inscriptions or other Marks, and the text block and illustrations are VG. This edition contains 32 of the magnificent photographs taken by F. L. Kennett together with more than 100 monochrome illustrations. These illustrations support an excellent text by the leading French Egyptologist, Madame Desroches-Noblecourt in which she describes the discovery of the tomb. An early edition of this classic work; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall. Illustrated by F. L. Kennett (Photographer) (illustrator).
