George Bird Evans (1906 - 1998) was an American author, artist, dog breeder, and sportsman, recognized widely as one of the world's leading authorities on upland gunning and bird dogs. Nash Buckingham (1880 - 1971) was an American sportsman, prolific writer, and outspoken conservationist, widely renowned and beloved as an outdoor writer during his time. Evans - with whom Buckingham was friends - selected, annotated, and edited some of Buckingham's best writing, creating The Best of Nash Buckingham. ; B & W Photographs; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; 320 pp.
