Catálogo de la exposición que tuvo lugar en el Museo Picasso de Málaga sobre la representación humana o plasmación de lo humano en los años de máxima explosión artística y técnica de la fotografía, la primera mita…d del siglo XX. El retrato ha sido un motivo central de los pioneros de la fotografía y aún hoy sigue cautivando al público. Esta exposición muestra un total de más de 100 fotografías de pioneros como Paul Strand, en 1916, aunque se presenta de modo particularmente amplio la época que sigue a la Primera Guerra Mundial, especialmente en los años veinte y treinta, tanto de los celébres fotógrafos vanguardistas como Man Ray o Lászó Moholy-Nagy o de artistas entonces más jóvenes como Claude Cahun o Gertrud Arndt. Una muestra de 111 obras todas ellas referenciadas. Incluye la biografía de cada uno de sus autores y ensayos de Christiane Kuklmann, Ramón Esparza y Florian Ebner.
