    Juristische Streitschrift wegen der Rechte und Privilegien des Bischofs von Konstanz in den in der Grafschaft Baden gelegenen Orten Kaiserstuhl und Klingnau sowie diverser Besitzungen im Thurgau (u.a. Arbon, Horn, Bischofszell). Die Streitschrift reagiert damit auf die 1710 veröffentlichte "Gründliche Information über des Hoch-Stiffts Costantz Jurisdiction bey dessen in der Schweitz gelegenen Landschafft", die die Ansprüche des Bischofs formuliert hatte. Sowohl die Grafschaft Baden als auch der Thurgau gehörten juristisch zur Eidgenossenschaft und wurden gemeinsam von den Alten Acht Orten regiert. Direkter Anlass für die Gegenschrift dürfte der Ausgang des sog. Zweiten Villmerkriegs (1712) gewesen sein, bei dem die reformierten Kantone gegen die katholischen die Oberhand gewonnen hatten. Zürich und Bern übernahmen die Anteile der fünf katholischen Orte an der Herrschaft über die Grafschaft Baden und Bern erhielt die Mitherrschaft in allen Gemeinen Herrschaften im Thurgau, der Vogtei Rheintal und der Grafschaft Sargans, an denen es bis dahin noch keinen Anteil gehabt hatte. Mit entsprechend "breiter Brust" konnten diese beiden protestantischen Kantone nun gegenüber dem Bischof von Konstanz auftreten. Die Ansprüche der Eidgenossen werden im ersten Teil vorgetragen, der zweite, 47 Seiten umfassende Teil gibt Verträge und Vereinbarungen wieder, die die Ansprüche stützen sollen. - Gering gebräunt, gelegentlich leicht stockfleckig, die ersten 10 Seiten mit kurzem (1,5 cm) Einriss vom Rücken her, Titel mit neuerem Namenseintrag, sonst sehr gut erhalten.…
