Halbleineneinband (die Deckel stärker berieben). Mäßig gebräunt, mit verschiedenen zeitgenössischen Beilagen versehen (tls. lose, tls. einmontiert (einige im Inneren des Drucks eingefügt). Ein deutlicher gebräuntes, im Inneren mit einigen Anmerkungen und Markierungen in Blei versehenes Exemplar.

Condition: Gut. 1852 (1854,). zusammen ca. 10500 S., 12° (Duodez, 10-15 cm), Goldgeprägtes Orig.- Leinen (Hardcover). 57 Bände (in 25) sind einheitlich gebunden, Band 27/28/29 leicht abweichend; mit je einem kleinen schlichten Exlibris auf den Innendeckeln; Einbände nur sehr gering berieben, teils mit schwachen Spuren von sauber abgelösten Papier-Schildchen; Stempel auf den fliegenden Vorsatzblättern; Papier ganz überwiegend weiß, nur selten - schwach - stock-/braunfleckig. Die Bände 59 (Bodenstedt) und 60 (von Fallersleben) wurden vom Buchbinder falsch eingebunden, befinden sich nach Dahlmann als Nr. 42 (Bodenstedt) und anschließend ohne Nr. (von Fallersleben). Die 2 Schiller-Bände wurden in einem (!) Band gebunden. So ergibt sich, dass diese Reihe geprüft vollständig ist, und dies noch in (fast) einheitlicher Ausstattung.
