Patch of discoloration to the front endpapers, due to an acidic piece of paper that had been laid in. Some penned underlining and one marginal note to pp. 290-1, else the text is wholly unmarked, pristine, and the binding and jacket are bright and fresh in appearance. A sharp copy.

Moderate amount of wear along edges of clipped dust jacket, several small chips and small closed tears, some scotch tape 'repair' done on verso; mild toning, a couple faint damp-spots to spine panel; jacket arrives wrapped in protective mylar.
