Die kunstvollen,…lebhaften und detailreichen Zeichnungen im Jugendstil mit den herausgezogenen, zum Nachmalen geeigneten Einzelmotiven, begründen die Ähnlichkeit. Methodisch ist es eine umfassend synthetische Schreiblesefibel, in der erst spät auch Druckschrift eingeführt wird" (Havekost C-13 mit 2 ganzseitigen Farbabbildungen). Teistler, Fibeln 2477.1. Ries, Wilhelminische Zeit, S. 503,9. Bibliographisch ist diese Fibel etwas ungenau beschrieben. Teistler gibt als 2. Ausgabe eine "Neue Ausgabe" von 1922 an, der erstmals die ersten VIII Seiten "Zum Ausschneiden und Malen" beigegeben wurden. Als nächste Auflage wird eine Ausgabe von (1928) zitiert, ohne eine weitere Auflagenbezeichnung. Vorliegendes Exemplar hat auf dem Einband die Auflagenbezeichnung "7.-12. Tausend", aber nicht die bei Teistler angegebene Bezeichnung "Neue Ausgabe". - Schönes und bemerkenswert gut erhaltenes Exemplar.
