Biodiesel samples were produced by catalysing the reaction of the triglycerid…e and methanol as follows; i. Catalysis by CCNS followed by workup to give Pko derived biodiesel and Shea butter fat derived biodiesel respectively. ii. Transesterification catalysed by NaOH only was also carried out on the palm kernel oil and Shea butter fat respectively. iii. Transesterification reaction of palm kernel oil and Shea butter fat using CCNS and thereafter by NaOH as catalyst respectively. iv. Transesterification catalysed first by NaOH and thereafter by CCNS of the palm kernel oil and Shea butter fat.
