Light scattered spots of foxing on prelims, very occasional spots of foxing in text, otherwise very clean. Vol II - xii, 396 pp. From 1844 to 1857. Including accounts of Nepal (cont.); Appointment as Governor-General's Agent for the Punjab and frontier; Siege of Mooltan, Second Sikh War, Board of Administration for Punjab; Life in Rajpootana; Oude, Lucknow, Death of Sir Henry Lawrence + Appendices. Text clean except for some foxing of last few pages. Both Vols - Bindings tight. Floral eps. Bound in contemporary green half leather with floral boards. Spines faded to brown due to exposure to sun. Marbled edges. Top and bottom of spines and corners rubbed. Some thin strips of leather missing from some corners. Overall condition VG.
