Such a thought would have been enough to send shivers down my spine. This is a nice clean copy, published by Grosset and Dunlap in 1924 There are four contemporary halftone plate illustrations by B. N. Salg that accompany the story. The Jerry Todd stories took place in the fictional town of Tutter, Illinois, which was actually based on Utica, Illinois.
