Veit und Eduard Rüber (illustrator). 4° ( 33 x 23 cm ) Reizendes Mappenwerk mit komletter Folge von 12 Umrissradierunge von Hanfstängel nach Zeichnungen von Veit und Rüber. Die Zeichnungen entstanden während einer Reise König Ludwigs entlang der Oberen-Donau. Es sind allegorische Trachten-Darstellungen, jedes Blatt ist einem Nebenfluss der Donau gewidmet. Die Trachten sind umrahmt von einer dekorativen Ehrenpforte, untertitelt von einem Vers von Ecker von Eckhoffen. Das Titelblatt und die übrigen Blätter der ursprünglich dreiteiligen Serie fehlen. Die 12 Grafiken sind in einer biedermeierlichen, später angefertigten Flügelmappe mit florealem Überzugspapier und von alter Hand beschriebenem Titeletikett aufbewahrt. Das Papier ist altersbedingt etwas gebräunt, teilweise leicht stockfleckig. Sehr seltene, auch als Fragment sehr sammelwürdige BAVARICA !!
