Library number to spine, stickers to inner rear board, flyleaf missing, sticker to rear of frontispiece, stamps to title-page, rear & last page. In ink writing under title states author as 'by William Edmondstowne Aytown' - can not verify this . Page-edges darkened with age, margins minimally yellowed. text has a few finger marks to one or two pages, but is generally clean. Excellent comical b/w illustrations. Reading/working copy. Doyle ; Leech ; Crowquill (Illustrators) (illustrator).
