Paperback. Condition: New. COVID-19 wrecked the plans and strategies of organizations everywhere, while injecting greater uncertainty into a world already undergoing disruptive social and technological change. Strategic Foresight can help us navigate through the recovery and beyond. Strategic Foresight is a systematic, intelligence-gathering, vision-building process that helps us manage uncertainty by discerning plausible alternative futures and applying the insights to present-day planning. It is ideally suited to a world upended by the pandemic and rapid transformations in the way we live, work and interact. Using approachable language and a multitude of examples, Learning from Tomorrow shows how Strategic Foresight broadens our perspectives, exposes opportunities and risks, and opens our minds to innovation in a post-pandemic world. It is essential reading for organizational leaders and those responsible for developing strategies, scenarios, policies and plans.

Hardcover. Condition: Good Plus. Hardback Pictorial Cover Book. Book has a tight binding and mostly clean crisp pages. Inside text is in Very Good Plus condition and appears unread and unused, but it appears that about 10 pages were still attached together at the top edge (a Random House production error), therefore a previous owner opened them up from being closed probably with a knife- this caused some small tears to the top edges- so therefore there are some small pieces of clear tape along some of the top page edges- and this only effects about 10 pages front and back. THIS HAS NO EFFECT ON YOUR ABILITY TO READ EVERY WORD! The edge tears are not near any printed words. No writing or markings in the book. Again, the inside text appears to be UNREAD! Outside pictorial covers are nice with some minor soiling and wear. Looks like there are some remnants of a small price sticker in the upper right hand corner of the front cover. No Dust Jacket came with the Pictorial Cover Edition. Book has come from a private collection. Landmark Books and World Landmark Books are accurate, in-depth stories for young people in the 9-15 year old range. These living histories were written by award-winning authors or by men and women who experienced the events first hand. Written during the 1950's and 1960's and illustrated either with two-color drawings or clear photographs, the books are informative, enjoyable, and well worth reading and collecting. Landmark Book #87. Heroism and the indomitable spirit of fighting men at sea pervade every page of this accurate, vivid account of a fateful chapter in our history.
