The decorative cover has light wear/marks; front inner hinge cracked with the front endpapers separated from the binding. Top edges gilt. Book.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. The collection contains mainly poetry and a few actual song lyrics from before the 1900s. Not dated. Edition and printing not known. Pocket size. Ex library book. In good plus dark grey cloth boards, spine has gilt decoration and titles. The boards are firm and flat and with a few small marks to front; spine ends and corners bumped and frayed and slightly shelf-cocked. The free end papers are lightly tanned; both front end papers have stamp from 'Recreation Room'. The text block is tightly bound and even; the cut edges are age-toned but the pages are unmarked. Very good condition. No dedications etc. Overall condition of boards add pages is good plus as boards do not match condition of pages.

Heavier book, smooth white cloth very slightly browned as well as slightly soiled, ornate raised and very bright gilt design and title on front, gilt bright but also rubbed in places on spine, three light creases at spine top edge, light green leaves illustrated inside covers and adjacent end papers, fancy calligraphic lettering for name and date on first front end paper, very slight separation to inner front hinge between front cover and first front end paper, doubled-folded pages with light green background and darker green leafy illustrations, quotations on friendship throughout, 16-page introduction. Light crease at top front left and along top back edge. Fair.
