A limited edition work, of which three-hundred and forty-five were printed. This copy is numbered two-hundred and twenty-nine. This work is a collection of the songs…and lyrics from Beaumont and Fletcher's plays put to contemporary music. Beaumont and Fletcher were a dramatist duo who collaborated during the reign of James I. They wrote around fifty-five plays together. Their plays include 'Cupid's Revenge', 'A King and No King', 'Love's Pilgrimage', 'The Noble Gentleman', 'Thierry and Theodoret', and more. Put to contemporary music by E. H. Fellows. Fellows was a Church of England clergyman and musical scholar. In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding with patterned paper to the boards. Externally, smart. A little discolouration to the spine. Minor marks to the boards. A very little loss of paper to the rear joint. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Pages uncut to the top edge.
