Black- and green-pictorial grey cloth over boards a little discolored, marked and rubbed, and slightly bumped and worn at the extremities. Some foxing throughout. The authors were Irish cousins Edith Anna Oenone Somerville (1858-1949) and Violet Florence Martin (1862-1915), who wrote and illustrated a series of humorous fictional works on contemporary Irish society.
