Illustrated Boards. Condition: Good. First Edition. Undated but probably mid 1950s. There is quite heavy rubbing to the corners of the illustrated boards and some rubbing along the edges. Browning to the page edges . Gift message in ink in the ownership section on the reverse of the front free endpaper. There is some writing in pen on page 84 and a few spots and stains and the pages are a little browned but generally otherwise clean and unmarked. No jacket as issued. The comic strips are illustrated in colour, two tone and black and white by Hugh McClelland.
