Sehr selten angeboten. Truk (heute Chuuk) ist ein inselreiches Atoll der Karolinen in Mikronesien. Die Karolinen waren u.a. deutsche Kolonie; auf Grund der relativ isolierten Lage und der großen Entfernungen zwischen den Inselgruppen wurden sie auch ziemlich lange von den schlimmsten Auswüchsen der Kolonisierung ( Entrechtung, Landkauf, Plantagenarbeit, Händler als Herren über die Inseln, Raub kultureller Güter, Entwurzelung) verschont, was die vielen wunderbaren und sehr besonderen Fotografien dieses Bandes teils wiederspiegeln können.
