Dorothy Downs created the cover art for many children's books published by Saalfield, as well as paper dolls published in the 1930s. Cover title. "No. 146-C" -- on back cover. Contains drawings on every page accompanied by interesting facts, primarily about animals, but various other surprising things are explained, for example Guinea pigs are not pigs but rodents. In Very Good Condition: sunning along spine and upper edge of back cover; edgs are lightly rubbed; pages are clean and bright.
