Interessante serie van toegankelijke kleine boekjes over de geschiedenis van de drukkunst, geïnitieerd en deels geschreven door de erudiete directeur van de in 1898 door opstandige typografen gestichte coöperatieve drukkerij, Frits Kerdijk (1879-1972). 1. F. Kerdijk: Voorgangers van Coster en Gutenberg. (Over middeleeuwse Oosterse drukken) 2. Huib van Krimpen: Blokboeken. Een tussenspel in houtsneden. Uit de voorgeschiedenis van stereotypie en galvanoplastiek. 3. L. Ronner: De drukkunst in de late middeleeuwen en op de drempel van de Gouden Eeuw. 4. H. de la Fontaine Verwey: Van Renaissance tot Romantiek. 5. Dick Dooijes: Flitslicht op het tijdperk der mechanisatie (met aandacht voor de bibliofiele uitgaven van De Roos, Van Krimpen et alii).
