Milber Down Camp was an Iron Age fortfied settlement near Newton Abbot' ; the pottery found was related to the La Tene celtic culture; and the small metal figures (two are shown) dated probably from the Roman First Century AD. The booklet was also an appeal for funds to continue excavating in 1938. A Good copy. Mostly clean pages with rusty staples that have small rust stains around.
