Auckland, New Zealand. The Halcyon Press. 1999. First Edition. Quarto (10 1/2 x 8). 256 pp. including bibliography, credits. This book is the fountainhead of New Zealand lures (streamers) with 65 color plates showing nearly every pattern imaginable (many flies are quite colorful and exotic). There's detailed descriptions of each fly pattern, its materials needed for dressing, and biographies of the pattern originators. A cool book and it's bound black French pictorial wrappers with yellow titles. Very good with a little dusting to the covers.
