El edificio institucional existente que se considera para el análisis energético anual se diseña además utilizando la Guía del Usuario del ECBC y la Norma ASHRAE 90.1, un código de conservación de la energía. Después de analizar los resultados de los tres casos respectivos, se encuentra que el edificio diseñado por el ECBC es más eficiente energéticamente, ya que consume un 10% menos de energía que el edificio institucional existente y un 0,6% menos que el edificio ASHRAE. Los edificios de diseño se califican usando GRIHA, un sistema de calificación de edificios ecológicos. Al obtener 66 puntos en el sistema de calificación GRIHA, los edificios de diseño son calificados como Edificio de 2 estrellas GRIHA. The survey form was filled up by contractors (10), consultant (5) and owner (5) according to their experience of construction work. The form was distributed to 30 participants. The severity index was calculated for all 38 factors to provide ranking according to contractor, consultant and owner/client. The top ten factors were consider according to participants which affects more and whose severity index is also high comparison to other factors are cost of materials, incorrect planning, previous experience of contract, contract management and poor financial control on sites.
