Corners slightly bumped, tiny smudge to fore-edge of text block right at the top. Pencilled notation to ffep reads, "2766 / To go to Hawaii" and there are purple ink stamps (two to front free endpaper, two to back pastedown) reading "High Altitude Observatory / Working Copy". Very mild toning to front and back matter. No other defects; pages bright and clean, no names or internal marks, binding sound. Format 6.625" x 9.625". Printed on good quality, glossy paper. Note that the covers are semi-rigid and slightly flexible; thus, booksellers who have listed their copies as softcover or as hardcover are both right, as it is not possible to enter "in between" in ABEbooks.
