Stiff printed wrappers, lightly worn at edges, internally very good with light staining. 12 fully colored maps, 2 of which (World and United States) are double-page. The United States map shows Texas as a Republic. The North America map names Texas, but does not delineate its borders. Oregon shown to 54-40. Not in AAS.

First Edition (?). Square octavo, 12 maps on 14 leaves (complete as issued). A very good copy in the publisher's printed sewn cardstock wraps. Spine quite worn, though the binding is still sound. Maps a trifle toned and foxed, with occasional stains, but generally clean and presentable. Published during a busy time of westward expansion, the maps of North America notably identify the northern border of the Oregon Territory at the 54-40 line (well into modern-day British Columbia), and the territories of Missouri, Iowa, and Wisconsin are quite expansive. Texas is clearly a disputed territory, either identified as "Texas" or as part of Mexico on different plates. At the time of publication, Texas was in its third year as a self-proclaimed republic.
