When water is gathered permanently over crop land, the situation is called water logging . The wetland area Vhabadah is situated in the South-western part of Bangladesh. At 1957-58, British engineer MacDonald was appointed as a consultant about the cause of flood at Vhabadah and how it can be solved. At 1959 WAPDA appointed International Engineering Co. to solve this problem. WAPDA makes a sluice gate in Vhabadah region.
