Centraal stond het arrest van het Duitse Constitutionele Hof, van 30 juni 2009, over de grondwettigheid van het Verdrag van Lissabon. Dit…arrest was, ook buiten Duitsland, de aftrap van een hernieuwd debat over de verhouding tussen het Europese recht en het staatsrecht van de lidstaten.
