First Edition
Cloth. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Limited/Numbered. Modern British Authors, Their First Editions was written/compiled by B. D. Cutler and Villa Stiles. The book was published by Greenberg Publisher in 1930 and is a Limited Edition publication, number 542 of 1050 published. It's not an ex-library copy but is only in good condition. It has a previous owner's nameplate on the front paste down end page, a spine that has had the original printing wear off and a hand printed "Modern British Authors" replacing it, a couple places where the spine can be seen when the book is opened, and some annotating by the previous owner(s). It is still, nevertheless, a great source for making sure what constitutes a true First for about forty British authors of the day. It has 171 pages with a Reference List of Bibliographies, a List of the Authors included in the book, and authors listed alphabetically. Thank you!
