Hardcover. Condition: Poor. Poor condition dark green hard cover with gilt decal. The boards are in pretty bad shape with the spine cover gone and the front and back boards heavily exposed with cracked hinges and heavy rubbing wear. Text block and interior is worn with soiling, toning, and foxing. Binding is loose but it is not exposed. A book on Connecticut's role and history during the American Civil war This book was released just 3 years after the war ended making this book very contemporary to the war it covers. The book covers both the Military roles such as Regiments and Batteries as well as the Civil history such as riots and other notable events.
