"The Gyroscopic Theory of Atoms and Molecules" is a 1915 theoretical physics paper by Albert C. Crehore that proposed a classical, electromagnetic, and mechanical model of atomic structure. It suggests atoms function like gyroscopes, emphasizing rotational motion, electromagnetic forces between orbiting electrons, and the stability of atomic structures in molecular formation"--WIkipedia This is a mechanistic approach by Crehore for replacing the quantum-based Bohr 1913 atomic model. …

Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book re-examines the structure of the atom, positing a theory of the atom that challenges the limitations of the established Bohr model. The author demonstrates that the Bohr model cannot account for uniform, constant vibrations of a quantifiable frequency while an electron is changing over from one circular orbit to another circular orbit of a smaller radius about the nucleus of the atom. Instead, the author proposes that the vibrations emitted during radiation from a gas are directly attributed to the forms of the paths followed by the electrons themselves upon returning to their normal orbit after displacement. The paths followed by the electrons are responsible for the frequencies of the vibrations observed in the spectra. Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book dives into the profound mystery of matter and energy, taking readers on an enlightening journey through the realm of physics. The author, a distinguished scientist, challenges prevailing notions with groundbreaking theories, exploring the fundamental nature of our universe. The book begins with the establishment of the atomic constitution of matter, delving into the discovery of electrons and the structure of atoms. The author deftly weaves together insights from electromagnetism, optics, and atomic physics, shedding light on the connection between the aether and matter. Through meticulous analysis of experimental observations, the author unravels the secrets of gravitational forces, heat transfer, and energy conversion. They propose a novel theory that unifies these phenomena, suggesting that the gravitational attraction between bodies is directly proportional to the kinetic energy of their electrons. With clarity and conviction, the author challenges existing scientific principles, introducing fresh perspectives on the constancy of the velocity of light, the relativity of space and time, and the nature of physical reality itself. This book is an invitation to explore the deepest questions of our existence, offering a glimpse into the boundless possibilities of scientific inquiry and the enduring power of human intellect.
