4°. [158] S. mit teils farb. und doppelblattgr. Abb. Farbig illustr. Orig.-Kartonumschlag. Erste Ausgabe. First issue. - "It's four friends playing in a totally crazy place in London, giggling at the absurdity of the situation. That was the Beatles, that was us" (Paul McCartney on Peter Jackson's Get Back series in October 2021). - "Over time, I convinced the others to Let It Be. Then we got into a terrible row and it looked like the only thing we could do was show the break-up. That would probably have been a better story, a sad one, but at least it was honest. What actually happened while we were working there was that the movie showed the break-up of our group. We didn't even realize that the Beatles were coming to an end" (Paul McCartney, The Beatles Anthology, p. 315). - The front cover has a slight crease at one corner; otherwise a very good, clean copy.
