Bella legatura coeva in piena pergamena con titoli ms. al dorso. Lievi e sporadiche arrossature, strappetti senza mancanza a p. 31 (prima opera) e a p. 23 (seconda parte, seconda opera). Esemplare fresco e ben conservato. Interessante edizione che riunisce le ristampe di tre rarissime opere di storia napoletana, quasi introvabili nelle edizioni originali. La prima opera, detta anche Cronaca di Partenope e falsamente attribuita al cronista trecentesco Giovanni Villani, fu stampata a Napoli nel 1526. Questa prima storia vernacolare di Napoli descrive eventi accaduti tra l'antichità e il 1343. Il capitolo finale è dedicato ai bagni di Pozzuoli e Ischia. La seconda opera, stampata per la prima volta a Napoli nel 1569, si deve al lavoro di Luigi Contarini (detto il Crocifero), ecclesiastico e storico nativo di Venezia, ma attivo tra Roma e Napoli nella seconda metà del Cinquecento. L'opera descrive le principali bellezze artistiche di Roma e Napoli.
