Hardcover. Condition: Good. Hardcover. 11 1/2" X 8 1/4". xxxii, 505pp. Mild wear to decorative cloth over boards with spots of rubbing and toning to covers. Light bumps to corners, edges, and to head and tail of spine. Dust-spotting to edges of text block. Foxing to front and rear endpapers. Pages are clean and unmarked. Rear hinge is beginning to start, with connective mesh visible; binding remains quite sound. With photographs and illustrations throughout, this 1893 tribute celebrates James Gillespie Blaine (1830 - 1893), a Republican politician who represented Maine in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1863 to 1876.

Blaine was written by John Clark Ridpath, General Selden Connor, and Other Eminent Friends of Mr. Blaine. The book was published by Historical Publishing Company in 1893 and appears to be a First Edition (as well as a Memorial Edition). The book is not an ex-library copy and is in very good + condition (particularly considering its years) with no dust jacket. It's 8" by 10 1/2" and has 505 pages with a Table of Contents and black-and-white illustrations throughout the book Thank you!
