The author provides reference material, such as a list of irregular verbs, a list of words of opposite meaning, abbreviations, letter formats, etc. at the rear of the volume, and as might be expected of the author and publishers, the English text includes significant Christian doctrine. The reader was designed for instruction of English to overseas Chinese, particularly from south China, as the Chinese text follows the Cantonese dialect. Binding good; spine a little worn.
