The front and panels have some patches of staining and there is fading to the top half of the rear panel. Quite heavy bumping and rubbing to the corners. Browning to the edges of the pages. Original owner's name and a date in ink to the front pastedown. There is browning and light spotting to the endpapers with a little fraying to the edge of the front free endpaper. Small creases to a few cornes and a small closed tear to the top edge of page 141. There is staining in a few places with seven stains to pages 142 and 143 but the pages are generally unmarked. No jacket. First printing.
