Frank O'connor, friend of Yeats, after a decade of literary acclaim in the United States, and a cast in various stages of successful careers on and off Broadway, in film, television, and music. There they were, with a strong Irish strain, acting out the allegories of Yeats's life and alter ego Cuchulain.
