The Poem was issued as a leaflet in December 1959, and was an ode to welcome the new Governor Sir George Bowen'; this ode appears as the first poem in Fugitive Pieces; printed stiff-card wraps; former owner's name to title page and front cover, scattered foxing, heavy to endpapers and prelims, lighter throughout, o.w. Good; wraps heavily rubbed and foxed, with worn patches and edgewear; spine browned, and with cracks and loss to tail. no dustwrapper. 113pp. 12mo. Good in fair wraps.
