First published in April 1968 during the heyday of Child's wildly popular TV show, this is the Second Printing of that FIRST EDITION from May of that same year, in Ninth Printing (1973) of that First Edition. In 424 pages + xvi pages + 16 pages of black & white photos from the show. Hardcover octavo (8vo) has cloth-covered boards with a red/white/black graphic design on front & back covers, wrapping around spine. Text block is upside down (publisher's error). Condition is is in VG: very clean & bright with soiled spots to bottom external page edges & general dust dulling to top outside edges, a few of the same spots in Index. Binding strong & straight; pages creamy white & completely unmarked. Modest rubbing to bottom edges from shelf & light bumping/cloth wear to all corners. No DJ (missing).
