Unusually for Mustang, it belongs to the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism, built at the end of the 17th century. The structure of the temple is currently renovated, with little protection for the artworks, this is therefore a valuable documentation of a true encyclopaedia of Nyingma iconography.
